Head of School Welcome

Welcome to East Herrington Primary Academy, our school website aims to give you an insight into our wonderful school community, where children and families are at the heart of everything we do.

At East Herrington Primary Academy, we pride oNicola_Hair-removebg-preview (3).pngurselves on caring for everyone in our school community to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils. All staff provide a caring environment in which children feel safe, secure and valued.

Following on from an excellent start in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 continue to provide opportunities within our broad, balanced and creative curriculum, to ensure that all children have acquired the skills needed to carry on their next steps in learning. We were delighted that during our recent Ofsted inspection, inspectors recognised the strengths of East Herrington Primary Academy;

"Pupils are respectful and eager to achieve well. They have positive attitudes to learning and concentrate well in lessons. Teachers use regular opportunities for singing to help motivate and engage pupils in their learning. Pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), achieve well. "  - Ofsted, October 2022.

The Trust's vision is to create opportunity through collaboration, celebrating the prospects and the potential that can be found in our community through our overarching aim to achieve learning and excellence for all. The staff and Local Board members here work hard to live up to this expectation by embracing every opportunity to strengthen our school community and improve outcomes for pupils.
